Ranking #1 for the term “seo Toronto” is an important target for any Toronto based seo company, but the question is does it really worth it for an seo company to spend its time/resources to rank in advanced position for this term? My personal answer is IT DEPENDS:
1-    If you want to rank #1 for this term in order to satisfy your ego, or that will make you feel better, then that makes sense for me.
2-    If you want to make it harder for small players to penetrate the seo market, that also makes some sense.
3-    If you are expecting to get a lot of business, here you might be wrong, big clients/company at least until I am writing this post do not go online and search for seo Toronto and find the company that ranks #1 and go with its service, unfortunately those big clients have their own methods to find their seo company such as agencies and recommendations by other companies.
You might be saying; but that doesn’t make sense I am ranking number one for the most competitive term in Toronto why big companies do not want to hire me? It is simple, not many people/companies know exactly what seo is (at least until now), that may change after few years, but for now they still use traditional methods in finding business partners.

1-    10% medium size companies those are serious about seo and you may get them as clients if you do good presentation and show them some good previous success.
2-    40% individuals working from home, they have very low budget and high expectations, most the time working with them is a sort of hard labour rather than being seo
3-    50% individuals those are shopping around and seeking information about the cost of seo packages, some of them asks for guarantees before even negotiating any deals, other have new website that they want to rank it #1 for “real estate”
Ok you may ask yourself again does it worth it or not … It does worth it but you may not get your results soon, Torontonian business owners still need more few years to get really educated about seo and know what they really need from seo, by that time they will know that a company ranks #1 for the term seo Toronto is the one that worth their business, “If you can do it for yourself you can do it for me”
